The Normal Way
The first way, What i mean with the normal way? Just like is said it. Its just the way how Microsoft would like you to do it to come here goto: Start > Control Panel > User Acccounts, this is actually the same as, the command "control userpasswords" that can be put in the "Run" dialog (Start > Run)

Microsoft has chosen a completely different path for XP and it's boot features by trying to incorporate as much support for newer fastboot BIOSes that are on most current motherboards. They built XP in such a way as to make it able to take advantage of features in these new BIOSes, and one of the coolest things is a small application called bootvis.

Its simple

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Customize (beside English US) -> Go to Time tab -> Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to display your name -> Apply -> OK

For example: If your name is John, set AM Symbol to "AM John" and PM Symbol to "PM John".

Now, your name will be displayed in Windows Taskbar after the time.
